Dr. Wayne Chesser
Meet Dr. H. Wayne Chesser, a Yuma, AZ native whose journey to dentistry is as unique as his approach to patient care. Initially working as a government contractor at the Army Test Center, his career took a significant turn when he decided to pursue his growing interest in healthcare. After earning an associate’s degree in business, Dr. Chesser was inspired to dive deeper into the sciences. Thanks to a grant from the Science Foundation, he transitioned into a Biology program and later, the Colorado School of Dental Medicine, where he trained to become the dentist he is today.
Dr. Chesser's passion for life extends beyond his dental practice. He's a family man with a wife and five daughters, and they all share a love for the great outdoors. Whether it's hiking, biking, boating, or hitting the slopes for skiing and snowboarding, they embrace every chance to stay active. Dr. Chesser is also an avid sports enthusiast. He’s played ice hockey for many years and has a history of racing — everything from dirt bikes to mountain bikes and off-road trucks. Dr. Chesser’s active lifestyle and commitment to health are at the heart of his dental practice, where he aims to offer care that enhances your overall well-being.

The Invisalign Treatment Process
Consultation & Exam
During your first visit, your doctor will take a look at your bite and smile to determine if Invisalign is the right option for you. This is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions that you may have about your smile, Invisalign, or other treatment options.
Aligner Pick Up
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Invisalign trays fit perfectly. When your aligners arrive at our office, you’ll come and pick them up to begin your treatment.
Check-ins
Once you’re approved for treatment, we will take scans or impressions of your teeth to ensure your Every six weeks or so, you’ll come back to our office to pick up your next few sets of aligners. Every treatment plan is different, so this amount of time may vary based on your needs. These check-ins are essential to ensure your treatment is on track and that your Invisalign trays are fitting properly.

Dr. Blalock grew up on a beef cattle farm in Crossville, TN. The time he spent working on the farm taught Dr. Blalock valuable problem-solving skills and a good work ethic. After Dr. Blalock suffered a dental injury when a cow’s hoof contacted his teeth, his dentist repaired his smile and sparked a fascination for the art of dentistry. Because of that experience, Dr. Blalock realized his calling was to become a dentist. He loves that dental work gives him the ability to work creatively with his hands while interacting with patients and making a positive impact on their lives.
Dr. Blalock graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tennessee Tech University with an undergraduate degree in health science biology. He went on to graduate with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry
